John Adams Band is a band from Denver, CO that has been performing and touring as John Denver “The Tribute” for more than 45 years. John Adams and John Denver were friends and spent a lot of time together. John Adams is the only officially endorsed tribute band by John Denver and his family before his passing. 

 

The music is performed exactly how fans remember hearing from the Rocky Mountain legend himself. Hal Thau, John Denver’s business manager said it as follows: “John Adams plays the exact same arrangements as John Denver did.” Songs like; Rocky Mountain High, Take Me Home Country Roads, Annie’s Song, Calypso, and Thank God I’m a Country Boy, combined with the personal stories that John Adams shares about his poignant times spent with John Denver.

 

John Adams’ voice alone is the highest tribute to John Denver. During a TV show in Europe, Denver admitted, “He sounds just like me.” A veteran of performing a John Denver tribute show for over forty-five years, his professionalism and ability to connect with the audience brings them back over and over again.
